Mechanics
The range of machinery developed by Helbling runs the gamut from the tiniest movements and drives in the micrometer and micro-newton domain all the way to large machinery (including rotating machines) in the mega-newton domain, as well as to a certain extent machines designed for use at high temperatures. Helbling's conceptions and designs meet high demands for precision, functionality, reliability, longevity, and cost/benefit calculations.
We have profesionals for static and dynamic calculations and simulations, for such operations in the fields of stability and fluid dynamics, and for drives, electronics, and controls. This wealth of expertise provides the groundwork for our development of complete mechatronic systems, machines, installations, and products.

We supported our client in various redesign and development projects for food processing machines. In addition to optimizing existing concepts, completely new concepts and processes were industrialized under extreme cost pressure. The close collaboration with our client consisted of concept studies, design optimization and on-site support.
The company planned to expand its range of injection molding machines by several sizes for larger molds. Within a very tight and fixed time schedule (trade fair), the largest type of new machine was to be developed and designed and production drawings made. Production, assembly and startup operation of the prototype were also to be accompanied. The prototype was subsequently to be optimized for series production.
The winders at both ends of a paper production or coating line are built in different sizes and degrees of automation. A new, bigger size was to be added to the range of the fully automated type.
