Structural Development of a Fine Blanking Press
One of the most important quality features of fine blanking presses is the accuracy of the components blanked with them. This accuracy places certain requirements on the rigidity of the frame of the press and the type of strains produced by the loads generated during operation.
Our tasks included:
- Transforming the accuracy requirements for the blanked parts to a set of technical specifications for the press frame
- Mathematical simulation of the deformation occurring under a variety of operating conditions
- Calculating the forces on the control elements. Finally, the frame was modeled statically and mathematical verification was established for the joints and fastenings
