Simulation and Modeling of a Handling Robot

A new robot is to be developed on the basis of an existing handling robot with a significantly higher picking rate and a broader field of application. 

Our tasks included:   

  • Multibody dynamic simulation of the robot's movement process   
  • Design of the driving motors   
  • Design of the transmission units  
  • Calculating the forces placed on the bearings  
  • Calculating the forces and accelerations placed on the arms and frame 
  • Detailed fatigue verification of the whole structure
