Quality Assurance for Turbine Components

A software solution is used to collect test specifications of gas turbine components, test reports and non-conformance reports as well as to embed subcontractors into the quality assurance process. 

Aim:
The existing ADAMS I ("Airflow Data Analysis & Management System) software solution had numerous weaknesses and was to be replaced by an updated version (ADAMS II). 

Our tasks: 

  • Compiling a study on the existing ADAMS I application as a basis for making decisions on how to proceed   
  • Planning and producing a turnkey ADAMS II application (including data transfer and launch)
  • Conducting the launch and training courses for the customer   
  • Carrying out the entire project using the Unified Software Development Process (USDP)

  • Case tool: Rational, XDE, RequisitePro   
  • Database: Microsoft SQL Server   
  • Language: C#   
  • Testing: NUnit
