Mobile Hotplate
A mobile hotplate was to be replaced by a radio-controlled successor system. An additional aim was to half the manufacturing costs. Helbling Technik undertook the further development of the system right through to the prototype.
Our tasks:
- Design of the optics integrated in the lid (measurement value evaluation of the analogue thermometer)
- Design and construction of prototypes (mobile hotplate, temperature measurement and control device)
- Conducting and evaluating temperature tests
Procedure:
- Selection and further development of innovative solutions, starting from a solutions catalogue
- Parameterization of design surfaces for the device casing using CATIA
- Manufacture of prototypes from vacuum-cast components
- Extensive temperature tests with the prototypes
Result:
The cooking system was successfully launched onto the market.
