Edge Arrissing Machine for Industrial Glass
Bystronic Maschinen AG contracted Helbling Technik to develop an arrissing machine which can be used to grind the edges of industrial glass during the manufacturing process.
Characterization of the arrissing machine:
The purpose of an arrissing machine is to eliminate the microcracks which have formed at the edges when the various sizes of glass were cut (crack growth, risk of injury). The arrissing takes place in an automatic process right round the edges on both sides. The machine is designed for glass of different shapes, thicknesses and sizes
