Potential analysis confirmed the feasibility of the ambitious cost target. Ongoing calculation and payback calculation during the entire development cycle (verification, concept, design, rapid prototype, and pilot series) ensured that the cost targets would be met.
Results:
- Manufacturing costs were reduced by more than half
- An innovative product with an appealing design and easy usability was created with the help of radar technology (HF sensors)
