Optical reader for mechanical counter
Development of a low cost sensor for automatic reading of a mechanical counter. The product is typically used for water flow meter at home entrance, it is an optical sensor conceived as an add-on module with long term robustness. It contains the active illumination optics, a standard CMOS camera, the customized plastic optics for illumination and imaging as well as the embedded electronics and software for image processing and communication.
