Low level software - UDS Server/Client, KWP 2000 Client to 8-bit Micro Controller
Initial situation
OEM supplier starting redesign of existing diagnostic unit. Low-level software is remodelled to be HIS compatible. UDS Diagnose Protocol is implemented on an 8-bit micro controller.
Task
Design of HIS-compatible low-level software. Second stage: development of UDS server/client layer as well as KWP2000 layer used for an 8-bit micro controller
Procedure
After concluding the low-level software, an already existing UDS server and KWP client were integrated into the project. The UDS server was developed from scratch and implemented - the transport protocols were newly developed.
